Check-In/On-Site Registration

Race day check-in and on-site registration opens at 7:15 a.m. and ends at 8:10 a.m. Race packets, t-shirts, and goody bags may be picked up on race day.

5K goody bag includes:

Fun Run goody bag includes:

Directions and Race Day Parking

From I-25 North or South
Take I-70 West and exit on Federal Boulevard

Turn right (north) on Federal Boulevard
Turn left (west) on 50th Avenue (Regis Boulevard)
Turn right (north) on Lowell Avenue.

Turn right into parking lot Entrance #3 for access to Lots 3 and 2

From West of Denver

Take I-70 East and exit on Federal Boulevard
Turn left (north) on Federal Boulevard
Turn left (west) on 50th Avenue (Regis Boulevard)
Turn right (north) on Lowell Avenue.

Turn right into parking lot Entrance #3 for access to Lots 3 and 2.

Parking is provided courtesy of Regis University. Parking fees are waived on race day. For overflow parking, please use Lot 1 West (directly across from Lot 1 East) or Lot 6. To get to parking Lot 6, exit Entrance #1 by turning left onto W. 50th Ave. (Regis Boulevard), pass the soccer fields on your left, and then turn left into Lot 6. Parking Lot 6 is located on the corner of Federal Boulevard and W. 50th Ave. (Regis Boulevard)

After-Party!

Bring the whole family and join us in Boettcher Commons (the Quad) after the race for food and fun. Post-race events include treats from:

  • Enjoy Biscotti
  • Cocomels vanilla, chocolate-covered caramels
  • Kaladi’s coffee
  • Bagels and fruit
  • Craft beer from Goldspot Brewing Company (21 & over only).

Activities include:

  • Run With a Zookeeper! Children K-8 will be able to run with children’s book author and local zookeeper, Dave Johnson Local zookeeper and children’s book author Dave Johnson is giving kids a chance to Run with a Zookeeper. For every kid that beats Dave to the finish line in either the 5K or 1K Fun Run, a $50 donation will be made to the Running Wild wildlife charity of their choice – Wildlife Protection SolutionsThe David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, or the Cheetah Conservation Fund.
  • Passport to Africa  – Learn more about African wildlife by participating in this fun, interactive activity. (12 and under, includes a completion prize)
  • On-site face painting
  • Did you get caught on Wildlife Protection Solution’s Poaching Cam? Their field cameras will be set up at the finish line. Images will be taken every 30 seconds. After the race, check our website to see you got CAUGHT on the Poaching Cam, and learn how their technology protects wildlife.

Awards Ceremony

The 5K Award Ceremony will begin at approximately 9:00 a.m.

  • Prizes from Runners Roost will be given to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place male and female winners.
  • The 12 & Under 1-Mile Fun Run Award Ceremony will follow. A medal and an autographed book will be given to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers. (Three finishers only).

You must be present to claim the award – no exceptions.

Running Wild is proud to partner with Finish Line Timing to manage the timing of our 5K event. Our 5K race is a chip-timed event, and our route is USATF-Certified.
